Puppy Training & Crate Training Programs
Our young puppy board and train option is perfect for families looking to start early with gentle guidance and structure. Led by our experienced team of dog trainers in Westchester, New York, this program focuses on crate comfort, house manners, and calm socialization in a real home environment with both people and well-trained dogs.
Depending on your puppy’s needs, stays range from 7 to 28 days. By the end of their stay, puppies will be crate confident, familiar with house routines, and introduced to good manners and early leash work. Those staying 21 to 28 days benefit from added exposure, extended leash sessions, and continued social development.
All Board & Training Programs Include:
At Highland Haven, we host your dog in a comfortable, clean guest house under the care of our certified dog trainers in Westchester County, NY. During their stay, dogs enjoy structured board and train sessions throughout the day that include obedience work, leash manners, and healthy socialization with both people and other dogs. Each training day is balanced with rest periods and plenty of one-on-one attention to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. We also maintain the diet you provide so your pup stays on their familiar food routine.
When your program is complete, you’ll take part in a personalized go-home day training lesson, where we’ll demonstrate everything your dog has learned and teach you how to confidently reinforce their new skills at home. This milestone is one of the most rewarding moments for both owners and trainers — watching a calm, responsive, and well-behaved dog return home transformed. Follow-up lessons and Zoom check-ins are included for continued success and convenience.
